Join the Palmetto Quilt Guild in celebrating the art of the quilt.  Stop by Saint Andrew-By-The-Sea Methodist Church on Pope Avenue to see over 100 pieces created by members of the Guild.  There is also a number of vendors and a boutique where guests can purchase an assortment of handcrafted gifts created by the same artists you will see displayed.

Proceeds from the Quilt Festival support the Palmetto Quilt Guilds community service, outreach projects and its programs and workshops.

Held each year at the Hilton Head High School, The Island Packet hosts this event with table after table of Yard Sale items.  You never know what you are going to find–a wedding dress, sport equipment, golf equipment, books, clothes or  maybe even an antique lamp.

Come join us for the 15th annual Hargray Wingfest, held each year at the Shelter Cove Community Park. Admission is $5 to get into the event, where numerous local restaurants and groups compete for the honor of having the tastiest wings!!! Be prepared to try a vairety of wing flavors, from hot to mild, and BBQ to gourmet flavors!!

Wingfest is a family event with a children’s play area complete with laser tag, and music from local groups . And so you don’t miss any of the March Madness games – there will be large screen televisions set up!

Come to the South end of Hilton Head to enjoy the Island’s 27^th annual St. Patrick’s Day parade on Sunday, March 14^th  at 3 pm.  Locals and vacationers alike fill up Pope Avenue to watch the parade and participate in local events at different restaurants.  The parade will start at the public beach parking lot on Forest Beach and proceed up Pope Avenue and finish on Office Park Rd (Park Plaza).  Festivities start at noon with live music at Irish Fest in the Wild Wings parking lot (Circle Center-Pope Ave.).  This annual event will happen rain or shine, so put on your Green and come enjoy this Island tradition.

Activities will benefit the Verizon Heritage PGA TOUR tournament and the Heritage Classic Foundation.

Come and enjoy watching over 500 pure bred dogs each day strut their stuff and compete in conformation, obedience & rally.  This two-day event begins on Saturday with the Puppy Groups & Best Puppy in Show, the Blessing of Our Dogs, and  the Canine Good Citizenship Test. Sunday, all day, is the Bred-by-Exhibitor Group & Best Bred-by in Show. Each day begins at Honey Horn Plantation at 9:00 AM and there is a parking donation for the benefit of The Coastal Discovery Museum of $7.00 per day.

Join in the fun!!!  Capt. Woody’s restaurants, located in the Palmetto Bay Marina, will be holding an Oyster Roast.  Take part in the buckets of oysters, hot dogs, hamburgers, soup, live entertainment and more!!!  A portion of the proceeds will benefit the Humane Society.
