 The Hilton Head International Piano competition is to encourage and support excellence in the performance of classical piano music by showcasing the talents of young pianists on the threshold of their careers in a competition judged by internationally acclaimed judges.

The date has been set!  The races had to be moved this year to March because the tides in February would not allow a race that would be safe for the horses and spectators.  Make plans to attend, it’s going to be bigger and better than ever!

Join the locals for our Annual Wingfest. Restaurant’s from around the island will gather to compete for the title of BEST WING.  There will be live music and a kid zone.

Admission is $5 (12 and under free).  Tickets for the wings will be sold separately.

Come out and support the Hilton Head Island Recreation Association Children’s Scholarship Fun.  On Saturday, April 7, 2012, from 10:30am to 1:30pm at Shelter Cove Park, the Island Recreation Center will be hosting an Easter Eggstravaganza.  Admission is $10 for children (includes all activities) and Parents and Godparents are FREE!  There will be an Easter egg hunt (starting at 11am sharp), blowup rides, music, face painting, and more.  Come out and join the fun!
