Current Island Information
The Town of Hilton Head has made it a requirement to wear face masks/face coverings when you are in any confined, indoor public space, such as grocery stores, restaurants, and retail establishments within the municipal limits of the Town. This excludes anyone with a medical condition, persons eating or drinking and any outdoor public areas. This is effective through 1.31.21 or the end of the State of Emergency.
Our beautiful beaches are open, please adhere to a few basic guidelines: do not congregate in large groups and maintain proper distance with others enjoying the beach. You may use beach chairs to relax and enjoy!
Complex Swimming Pools and Fitness Centers:
Complex pools, spas, sundecks and fitness centers are permitted to be open provided that the homeowner associations* are able to comply, with state restrictions. Some associations, in order to comply have elected to modify and/or restrict certain areas. ***Please check with one of our vacation planners for specific questions regarding the complex you are considering.
*Any restrictions are subject to change without notice and are not controlled by Beach Properties of Hilton Head
Restaurants and Bars:
Restaurants are offering outdoor dining, in addition to full capacity indoor seating as well as existing take out, curbside, and delivery services. As of July 11th, Governor McMaster announced that the sale of alcoholic beverages in all bars and restaurants throughout the state will be prohibited after 11 pm each night.
