15 East Garrison Place ~ Short Walk or Bike Ride to the Beach!
This home is new to the rental market as it was just purchased in 2018. This is a fantastic home which is a just short walk or quick bike ride to the beach (3 minutes by bike or 6 minutes by foot). This home is located at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac. The neighborhood street ends at a long driveway to this house and the area behind the house is “green space,” which makes it completely private as you enjoy the long rectangular pool. There is a private trail to the bike path that begins at the end of the driveway and it is only 0.4 of a mile to the beach. The bike path is shaded and cool without the worry of traffic. There is a crosswalk to facilitate crossing S. Sea Pines Drive to access the beach path (this is just around the corner from where Greenwood Drive and S. Sea Pines Drive merge). The beach path is #26 and it is between Surf Scoter and Snowy Egret. This area of Sea Pines is highly sought after for its privacy and location. It is almost equidistance between South Beach (Salty Dog restaurant) and Harbor Town (Crazy Crab restaurant).
This home was recently renovated. There is new hardwood laminate flooring throughout, along with brand new furniture in every room. In the Family Room there is a 55” flat screen TV, the Dining Room has a 50” flat screen TV, the Family Room has a 48” flat screen TV and each bedroom contains a 28”-32” flat screen TV. Each television has streaming cable (Spectrum) including Premium Movie Channels (HBO, Showtime and Cinemax) along with Roku (Netflix, Amazon and Hulu). Free, password-protected, Wi-Fi is available. An Amazon Echo is also available for use in the kitchen but can be moved from room to room for music.
This home comfortably sleeps 6-8 people. It contains one king bed (master bedroom), one queen bed (2nd bedroom) and two twin beds (3rd bedroom). The 2nd and 3rd bedroom share a full bathroom, and there is a half-bath outside of the Family Room that can be used for everything except a shower. Each bedroom has a ceiling fan along with a floor fan. There are also two ottomans that open into twin beds (one is outside the kitchen and one is in the Family Room). These have memory foam, so they are not “your mother’s” sleeper, and they are exceedingly comfortable. They have wheels on them, so they can easily be moved to any area of the house that works best for you. The Family Room is an ideal “fourth bedroom” with easy access to the half bath.
This home has a comfortable patio surrounding the large pool which has ample seating for sun bathing and dining. There are two sets of four-top table/chairs (one tall and one standard) that are the perfect setting for eating outdoors or drinking a cold beverage while watching the kids in the pool. A gas grill is available.
There are two large rooms for the family/friends to gather and/or to have some time apart. The Family Room has a large sectional sofa that seats eight, a round table that seats four, and two ergonomic chairs with ottomans. The round table can be used to play games (numerous games are available such as Monopoly, Clue, Dominoes, Scrabble, Rummy Cube, etc.) or work on a puzzle (provided). There is also a card table and four chairs available in the Utility Closet. The pool is just outside this room via a set of French doors.
The Living Room is equally large with seating on three different sofas for up to eight people. The Dining Room shares this same oversized space and the dining table has seating for eight at a high-top table along with a small breakfast table/stools that seats two and overlooks the pool.
The fully stocked Kitchen is between the Dining Room and the Family Room. There is absolutely everything you could need to cook in this house along with a Keurig and a traditional coffee maker to get you started in the morning. The sink and ice maker are filtered so no need to run out and buy bottled water or ice. The pool is just outside of the Kitchen via sliding doors.
A Washer/Dryer and a Dishwasher are provided along with an iron/ironing board and a clothes steamer. Two hair dryers are available and two lighted make-up mirrors. Beach towels are provided along with bed linens and bath towels.
There is plenty of parking on the long driveway. Typically, there is just enough parking for one car per bedroom, but this driveway can easily handle more, if people drive separately.
DIRECTIONS TO THE BEACH: There is a private trail to the bike path that begins at the end of the driveway and it is only 0.4 of a mile to the beach. The bike path is shaded and cool without the worry of traffic. There is a crosswalk to facilitate crossing S. This was our first time renting a house and it was fantastic. It was such a clean, relaxing and peaceful place. We loved how close it was to the beach and the pool was a nice oasis after a day at the beach. We had a wonderful vacation and made many lasting memories. Thank you for helping make this trip perfect. -The Egans

Friendly, helpful and informative.
We always enjoy our time in this home, it is truly like being in our happy place. Everything is provided even the little things that we usually forget. The kitchen is equipped with all things imaginable and in great quantities. The seclusion of the home often feels like we're alone on the island. However the proximity to the ocean is the crowning feature.

A great experience, very helpful
Amazing location - where the road ends at this lovely beach house. This secluded sanctuary in Sea Pines is a quick walk to the beach and only a 5 minute bike ride. With paved paths, it is a snap to transport beach chairs, umbrellas, etc. The bike path starts right by the house which made it possible for us to make impromptu trips around the island several times a day.

This is our 11th year renting during Spring Break and this house is the best, most completely stocked one we've stayed in. We appreciate how everything is well-marked.

Everything went perfectly.
The house is very nicely decorated and very clean. Plenty of areas to relax and feel right at home. It was close to the beach and close to walking paths that go all thru the area. We will come back!
