How to Get From Atlanta to Hilton Head Island

Driving from Atlanta to Hilton Head takes a little over four hours. Leaving ATL, you will hop on I-75S and make sure to stay on 75S until you reach Macon, GA. Take exit 165 toward I-16E towards Savannah and continue until you get off at exit 157B to merge onto I-95N. Stay on 95 for about 20 miles and take exit 8 to merge onto US-278E, which will take you right to the island!

With our express check-in process, you will be able to start your vacation without long lines or frustrating delays. While unpacking, you want to get everything done and over with so you can start your visit Groceries are important to have on a week-long vacation, and sometimes between clothes and the kids, you might not have room to bring a big cooler full of essentials.

With Island Services, you can have groceries delivered curbside, rent baby gear and bikes, and even have a local restaurant cater a meal for you. We work to make your vacation as easy as possible! When you’re done moving in, we recommend taking a boat tour of the island. See the dolphins, go crabbing, or take a dinner cruise. The water is your oyster.

If you are feeling for some seafood, you have arrived at the right place! We love Hudson’s Seafood House on the Docks! A Hilton Head staple since the 1970s, Hudson’s offers fresh fish and a memorable waterfront location. In the mood for some live music with your fried okra? Ruby Lee’s South is classy soul food and blues restaurant. There is no better place to relax on the island with a mix of soul food classics and live music.
