Parrot Palooza Caribbean Concert (September 3)
This fun family event offers Caribbean dancing, music, and plenty of opportunities to have some fun! Parrot Palooza will be held during Labor Day weekend. The band, Shannon Tanner and the Oyster Reefers, is a well-known Jimmy Buffett tribute band, so enjoy island vibes and be sure to bring the kids too!
Fish and Grits Music Festival (October 1)
Hilton Head's Fish and Grits Music Festival is the perfect way to get out on the town and experience Gullah culture. The Gullah community has played a significant role in developing Lowcountry culture and customs. Join us and experience this through good music and delicious cuisine. Shelter Cove Pumpkin Patch (October 28)
Visiting in late October wouldn't be complete without visiting the pumpkin patch in Shelter Cove! This annual event is hosted by the Island Recreation Association and takes place on the last Friday in October. Letting the kids find their favorite pumpkin is only getting the party started! Hilton Head Oyster Festival (November 11 & 12)
Bring your appetite to this one! Oysters are a staple in the Lowcountry diet, and visiting in November wouldn't be complete without attending. The Hilton Head Oyster Festival is a two-day festival perfect for adults and children. Bring the kids along, enjoy all-you-can-eat oysters on Friday, November 11, and peruse the local pop-up shops and vendors on November 12. Hilton Head Island Lantern Parade (November 12)
After exploring the vendors and pop-ups from the Hilton Head Oyster Festival, get excited for the Hilton Head Island Lantern Parade! This event is held to celebrate Hilton Head and the people and nature that make this island one-of-a-kind. Watch while larger-than-life lanterns move down the street. The parade starts at dusk, so be sure to have everyone ready for a night of lights!
