How to Get to From Hilton Head to Daufuskie Island
Just south of Hilton Head, Daufuskie Island is a beautiful slice of paradise with gorgeous native plants and flora as well as an abundance of activities. The only way to get from Hilton Head to Daufuskie Island is by boat, so you’ll have to catch a ride on the ferry. You can pick up the Daufuskie ferry at Buckingham Landing, which is right at the start of the bridge connecting Bluffton to Hilton Head. Embark on a beautiful hour-long ride through the Calibogue Sound in this enclosed ferry with A/C. The ferry departs from Buckingham Landing four times each day and five times on Fridays. Check the schedule to plan your trip out to the island with plenty of time to enjoy all the area has to offer.
Things to Do on Daufuskie Island
Although Daufuskie Island is a small, secluded area, there is a surprising variety of attractions and activities available to visitors.
