The Bluffton Arts and Seafood Festival is a family-friendly, week-long celebration that highlights all the things we love about the South Carolina Lowcountry. This autumn event takes place in the lively streets of Bluffton’s historic district. Here, you’ll have the unique opportunity to explore the work of more than 100 artists, indulge in fresh local seafood, embark on historical tours, and more.

What Are the Most Popular Events?

The festival activities carry on from the morning until the evening, but there are a few popular events that you should know about! If you’d like to incorporate some exercise into your vacation, remember to sign up for the Old Town Oyster 10K Road Race & 5K Fun Run. After you cross the finish line, an exclusive after-party awaits! Other popular festival attractions include ghost tours, kayaking and paddleboarding trips on the May River, Daufuskie Island history excursions, and the special four-course dinner known as the Bluffton State of Mind Supper Soiree.

What’s on the Menu?

Fresh seafood is the highlight of the Bluffton Arts and Seafood Festival. Past menus have featured everything from crab cakes from The Crazy Crab, lobster mac n’ cheese from The Sugaree, and fresh oysters from Bluffton Oyster Company. Pizza, popcorn, homemade ice cream, and other treats are also available!

What are the 2019 Dates & Location?

The cultural district of Bluffton is the designated location of the 2019 event. The festivities kick off on Saturday, October 12 and continue through Sunday, October 20.

How Much Is Admission?

The festival itself is free to attend. However, advanced registration and fees may apply for select events. We also recommend bringing along a bit of cash for shopping for local art, food vendors, and more.
