Lawton Stables is in the heart of the Sea Pines community. There isn’t a better place to get a true feeling for the Lowcountry in its most natural state. During your ride, you’ll have the opportunity to meander through more than 600 acres of forests and lakes in the Sea Pines Forest Preserve. In addition to horseback riding, Lawton Stables has a wonderful animal farm. Goats, sheep, miniature donkeys, miniature cows, pot-bellied pigs, and alpacas all call this farm their home!

Moss Creek Equestrian Center

Moss Creek Equestrian Center is a full-service facility that offers a wide range of activities, including show jumping to basic riding lessons. Daufuskie Island Trail Rides

Although Daufuskie Island Trail Rides isn’t on Hilton Head Island, it still deserves an honorable mention. It is the only place in the area where you can enjoy horseback riding on the beach. To make your way to the island, you must take the Daufuskie Island Ferry. A variety of trail rides are available on Daufuskie Island, including a historical journey and a beach ride.
