8122 Wendover Dunes is a spacious 2-bedroom, 2.5-bathroom villa located in Palmetto Dunes. This villa is on the second floor of Building F and has a large, screened porch where guests can relax and enjoy the lush tropical landscaping as well as views of the pool area.

There is a large open living area with gorgeous hardwood floors, featuring updated furnishings, a formal dining table that seats six, an open kitchen, and access to the screened porch. This villa is nicely decorated with beach and coastal décor. The fully equipped kitchen has stainless steel appliances and two stools at the countertop. This opens into the dining/living area, which makes it possible for everyone to be together while meals are prepared. In the living room there is a tray ceiling, tan queen sleeper sofa, matching love seat, two accent chairs, and a 55” Roku TV. The wraparound screened porch with ceiling fan offers a table with four chairs as well as two rockers for reading or relaxing. Off the main living area is a carpeted guest bedroom with two double beds, accent chair, tray ceiling, and 43” TV. This room has access to the screened porch. The bathroom can be accessed from the hall or bedroom and has a double vanity, walk-in shower, and a jetted soaking tub.

A half bathroom is located just outside the master bedroom door and is easily accessible to everyone in the main living area. Across from the kitchen is the laundry room. The Master bedroom is located just to the left when you enter the villa. This room is carpeted, has light blue walls, a tray ceiling, King bed, and 39” TV. There is a small, private balcony with two chairs to sit and enjoy your morning coffee. The newly renovated, private expansive master bathroom has double, granite topped vanities, a walk-in closet, walk-in shower, and a jetted soaking tub.

8122 Wendover Dunes is a comfortable Hilton Head Island vacation rental where guests will enjoy their vacation. It is a short 3-minute walk to the beach and adjacent to the pool area which also has a hot tub, gazebo, and BBQ area for guest use.

We have stayed in this unit numerous times. Absolutely love it. The guest bedroom could use more lighting but other than that we love the unit. HHI is fantastic!

I am going to be having surgery soon which will require a 4 month recovery. My wife and I are considering coming to either Wendover, Barrington or Huntington for a month or two. I almost don’t want to tell anyone about it because I want to keep it a secret, LOL. But it was one of my favorite units and I have been coming to HHI since 1985.

We really enjoyed Wendover Dunes. It was the nicest accomadation we have stayed in. The unit was very spacious. The best part was the screened in porch. We enjoyed sitting out there in early mornings and in the evenings. The unit was excellent. Better in person than the pictures showed. We plan to return soon.

The condo complex we stayed in was modern, only a few units per building, very well landscaped and we were very comfortable inside. We stayed on a second floor which was a bit of a hike up the stairs with a toddler all the time, but it was quiet. We loved the screened-in porch which made an extra play-space for my child and we worried overlooking the pool might be loud, but we were never bothered. We were not there during peak season though. We were about a 3-4 minute walk to the beach. Considering beautiful complex, the short walk to the beach, and the roominess inside (oh, and having a washer/dryer inside was great), this was an excellent value and I would stay again. We reviewed many other condos/flats that were more expensive and not nearly as nice and/or as close to the beach. Five stars!

Great place, right next to pool! Close access to beach. (Beach not crowded in this area.) Bike paths in front of condo allow easy access throughout Palmetto Dunes & HHI pathways to stores, mall, restaurants, etc. Definitely will stay at Wendover Dunes again!!!

Great place to stay. When I looked at the pictures on line I thought a wide angle lens was used to photograph the interior. To my delight, a wide lens was not used, the condo was very spacious. I really don't think the pictures on line due the condo justice. I felt it was nicer in person. The beach was a pleasant walk on the lush landscaped path. The only negative I can think of is the amount of stairs to get to the condo. The steps aren't too bad, but it is something to consider if you have someone elderly in your party. We had a great time biking on all of the paths throughout Palmetto Dunes.
