Whether it is walking on the beach or a trail in a state park, Hilton Head has a myriad of options for you to try.

Jarvis Creek Park

At 53 acres, Jarvis Creek Park is the perfect park to spend an afternoon without getting lost. Jarvis Park is fantastic for all ages, with a 1.1-mile path around the lake. If you want to go fishing, the 11-acre lake is stocked with Largemouth Bass and Blue Gill. While the sand is not great for walking, there are several paved seaside trails to stroll on Burkes Beach. Burkes also boasts a high tide, temporary saltmarsh creek known as “The Folly,” which is a must-see for nature fans. If you're planning to bring along your pooch, be sure to check out the dog park while you're there.

Audubon-Newhall Preserve
