Tybee Island, GA

Once you are here you might want to take a trip to one of our neighbors! Tybee Island is a barrier island off the Georgia coast with pristine sandy beaches. The quick trip across state lines can open you up to the beautiful historic city of Savannah brimming with a talented art scene, new beaches, and different events to plan your visit around.

Visiting the Lowcountry

Want to hit all the hidden gems in the Lowcountry of South Carolina? Here is a mini list of a few of our favorites!

Daufuskie Island A quick trip across a water ferry will take you to the secluded Daufuskie Island. With few inhabitants and no cars, it is truly a portal to a different time with beach horseback riding, waterfront restaurants, and acres of preserved forests.

Edisto Island About an hour away, Edisto Island is home to the 4,600-acre wildlife preserve Botany Bay. Walk the ancient human ruins, maritime forest, and freshwater ponds within a stone's throw of the best beaches on the South Carolina coast.

Charleston SC When people picture the Lowcountry, they have the iconic church steeples and Ravenel bridge of the Holy City front and center. While it is a touch over 2 hours from Hilton Head, Charleston makes for a great day (or night trip)!
